The 'electronic chips' explained:
===========================
The electronic chips are attached to the cartridges & are required
for the cartridge to work in the above mentioned printers.
You have the choice to purchase the edible ink cartridges either with or without
the chips.
If you purchase edible ink cartridges without the electronic chips:
The electronic chips must be removed from the original
Canon cartridges & fixed to the edible ink cartridges. When purchasing these
cartridges full instructions will be supplied.
The electronic chips can then be reused when replacing the edible ink
cartridges. When reusing the chips ink monitoring will be disabled so the user
must be careful & manually monitor the ink levels.
If you purchase edible ink cartridges with the electronic chips attached:
These cartridges are slightly more expensive but on the plus side you do not
have to reuse the original chips & ink monitoring will NOT be disabled.
